"Cheju Volcanic Low Tide"

Cheju Island off the southern tip of South Korea.

It is a strange landscape. Very alien and interesting.

Seongsan Ilchulbong volcano can be seen across the bay in the background at the upper left which we climbed earlier in the day.

It is interesting to see rounded volcanic rocks that have been polished by the tides for countless thousands of years scattered among the tide pools.

It was late in the day and quite overcast. The strange, reddish color of the volcanic rock made me feel as if I were on an alien planet.

135mm Zukio prime lens at f/3.3 with a 30D body.

This is not cropped or touched other than resizing for this web page.

As always I do not like to retouch or photoshop my images.
